sterk te music video

be sure to check out THIS LINK. Sorry there is no directly embedded youtube or vimeo video here, but none of the videos online worked that well.

Anyway, it was made by Tale for her final assignment this semester. She took all the pictures and directed us around, and we made the music. (Unfortunately our final band member couldn’t make it for the recording since he had his masters paper due when it was made).

  • been enjoying the video and loving the cover art on tale\’s flickr page tis beautiful stuff! wish i knew how to do that stuff with my camera. I\’m be more productive lately been working in to that big book of collage i started at the end of last core i might even have a comic by the weekend, you never know…

  • I’m glad you like it. Her class had a vote on their favorite video, and Tale won the first prize. A toy gold medal. Later that day there was a degree show, and when Tale and me and Sven arrived people called out “Sterk Te”. It was surreal having people coming up to us saying they could dig the video. One even said she could dig the music.

Anyway, don’t want to ruin the magic, but try putting your camera in a box to block out any light. Then poke holes in one of the sides. Then set off the camera with the timer thing.

I’d love to see some of the glue book pages you’ve been making. I mainly remember the one with the lamposts and flowers, wich I like a lot.

  • “A toy gold medal”! for the win ! im sorry to say i was impressed by the flikr stream work more then the music video, but wow people calling out your name lol that some thing else lol, i was thinking its nearly been a year wow ! they still have the viset Norway poster up at Newcastle metro so it thinking about it alot! i will try the light box idea for the beautiful light box stuff but im sure it would not be as beautiful is the “Sterk Te”. stuff it nice to hear stuff is going so well for her… rock on!Sterk Te

  • Yeah, you should try out the box thing. It could be nice combining it with your illustration as well. You could probably make something good by playing around with the aperture and blinder settings (I’m a bit uncertain when it comes to english camera termology, but hopefully it’s right).

Go Visit Norway poster! I’m all for a visit over here. Yeah, it doesn’t seem like it’s been that long, don’t know what I’ve been doing with all that time.
